I'm a big fan of Clive Cussler. His books are adventure and mystery with world domination that strains our credibility but, somehow, Cussler makes it possible. If you want to get swept up in an adventure story with a little history, environmental education, thriller, survival, romance, action and Rah-Rah patriotism all rolled up into one then grab one of Clive Cussler's novels. I usually can't put them down. I have fun reading them.

Most of his adventure novels are based with NUMA (National Underwater and Marine Agency), a private agency with international clout. This agency has ships and scientists working all over the globe to map, experiment and solve the problems of our seas. Special Projects Leader Dirk Pitt, Sr. is Cussler's "James Bond" . Pitt is the main hero in most of Cussler's novels. Although there are the Kurt Austin novels and Cussler is developing Dirk Pitt, Jr. and his sister, Summer Pitt.

Thankfully he is a prolific writer!
