Out of Print Books

Are you looking for a book that's out of print? Maybe there's someone out there who is willing to sell you an old copy--or has tips on where to find one.

Tips for Finding Books:

MissRoo says: I have used BookFinder (www.bookfinder.com) in the past to find out-of-print books. Also, some of my friends use AbeBooks (www.abebooks.com) to hunt down those rare and out-of-print treasures.
WPA books: I am hunting for the American Guide series to the states. The books that interest me are first editions, with good dust jackets and (if appropriate) maps in the back. If you have any of them on your shelves, let me know. We just might have a deal! Doug.

Julia says: I would love to find a reasonably-priced copy of Crescent Dragonwagon's children's book, Will It Be Okay? Any ideas? Somehow this book got donated to an elementary school library some years ago, and I wish to have a copy for my future children.

My sister and I had a book with this title when we were young. The stories were about children who didn't obey and suffered the consequences. In one, a little girl's doll carriage was crushed because she left it in the driveway. In another a child was left home from an outing because he or she would not get up and get ready in time. If anyone has this book, I would love to hear from you. If I could get a copy for a reasonable price, I would be interested. Thanks.
Sharon

I really want to snag a copy of this wonderful children's picture book to use in my classroom, but the online copies are frightfully expensive.

There are loads of used book stores in Canada, everywhere you go. They are generally run by very knowledgeable, helpful people who may very well have, and be able to point you to, what you want.
