Here's a challenge for you:This is the
Science Fiction Book Club's list of the fifty most significant science fiction/fantasy novels published between 1953 and 2002. The list is courtesy of "
Bowing to the Future," a blog from Lou Anders, editorial director of Prometheus Books' science fiction imprint Pyr.
Here's the specific entry where this particular challenge is located. The Key:Bold the ones you've read. Strike-out the ones you hated. Italicize those you started but never finished. Put an asterisk* beside the ones you loved. |
Since the Wetpaint editor doesn't appear to have strike-out capability, I suppose one could use underline instead, as I've shown above.
In the case where I honestly don't remember if I've read the book or not, I've put a (?) at the end of the entry.
Please don't alter my entry. Instead, copy and paste the list to the end, and then make your own edits to your copy of the list. An easy way to get rid of the formatting is to paste the list into Windows Notepad, then paste back to the page here. That won't get rid of the asterisks, though. You'd have to use a more sophisticated program with search and replace capability to do that automatically. You can do it manually easily enough.
