Blood and Chocolate is a romantic supernatural werewolf novel which is set in an alternate universe where werewolves secretly live among humans in contemporary America. This novel is about a 16 year old girl named Vivian Gandillon who is a loup-garou, or a werewolf, who fell in love with a human meat-boy named Aiden. She is beautiful and strong, and all the young wolves are on her tail. Vivian longs for a normal life and yet still grieves the loss of her father who used to be the pack leader. Vivian wants to reveal her true self to Aiden who is fascinated by magic, so surely he would understand her and delight in the wonder of her dual nature, not fear her as an ordinary human would...or would he? Vivian's divided loyalties are strained further when a brutal murder threatens to expose her pack. Moving between two worlds, she does not seem to belong in neither. What is she really--human or beast? Which tastes sweeter--blood or chocolate? A truly magnificent novel written by Annette Curtis Klause, a must read for young adults who ravel on reading fantasy books.

Heart On My Sleeve is about a girl name Chloe who is soon graduating High School to go to College. During the almost end of High School, Chloe has met a guy named Julian who is a singer like her, and he fell for her the two days they saw each other at Cartwright (The College she wants to get into). Both Chloe and Julian had to go their different ways since Julian lives in Florida with his mom and his sister moved out already and emails and writes to Julian about her wacky life which always seems to surprise Julian. Chloe lives in Connecticut with her lovey dovey parents (eww) while her sister moved out and later on moved to New York to further out her acting career which will be slightly hard since you always have to start of small to end up big. All in all, Julian can't stop thinking of Chloe and her beautiful voice and Chloe can't stop thinking about him! They write to each other, telling one another about whats going on, but later things go haywire. Chloe has a bf already named Eli who was her friend since ever and things didn't go smoothly after Eli found out about Julian. Chloe would get to see Julian and hope that he will win the contest and win scholarship money to go to Cartwright, but in the process of seeing him again made her think if maybe her imagination about him has run wild and the letters made her see him in a different way then he truly was. This book is not in the normal format, more like a big giant email and latter extravaganza. Shows how some people are not what they seem to be or what you imagine them to be. Wearing your heart on your sleeve might get you in a load of trouble, is Chloe up for it? A fantastic book written by Ellen Wittlinger, I simply couldn't put the book down and felt sorta bad for reading people's emails and mail!!! A total must have for anyone who loves to read something juicy and full of anticipation and surprise.

Hi I´m looking for a book I read about 10 years ago and can´t get out of my head.
It´s about an ice prison, a girl with some kind of telekinetic powers and a man who is a brutal enforcer or guard or something . the whole prison is run by a computer and the people in it have been captive for so many generations that they don ´t even remember why only that they are descendants of those on the losing side of a war. In the end the computer chooses the girl to lead them out of the prison since it is failing due to age, and the city thaws and due to her power´s she can literally create the landscape outside the prison in which they will live.

Hopefully someone can help me out and tell me the title of this book. thanks in advance

Hi! I'm a moderator here at Book Lust, and I thought it'd be appropriate to move this page to "Your Favorite Books," rather than under Nancy Pearl's book listings. Thanks for creating this page, and we look forward to your input!
