This is a memoir you can’t forget. It's an arresting story, rich with multicultural detail and adventurous exploration, a vivid portrayal of human and superhuman relationships. Love, drama, passion and spiritual revelation combine to create a dynamic story for the intellectually curious. PS - I loved it!

Hoffman is best known for Practical Magic, but she has a whole bevy of novels that are enjoyable fiction, with a good bit of magical realism. I have found all the books of hers I have read very compelling.
