the legacy: a comedy of terrors
The breathtaking new novel that the whole of Westminster is waking upto.
The tale chronicles the progression of unbridled governance, its demise and inevitable descent into hubris.
The work's title, subject matter and its reasonance with the public are obvious, but it is absolutely bulging with handy quotables and chic wisdom as well.

Hi! I'm a moderator here at Book Lust, and I thought it'd be appropriate to move this page to "Your Favorite Books," rather than under Nancy Pearl's book listings. Thanks for creating this page, and we look forward to your input!

A really interesting book by a famous American lawyer. I expected it to discuss cases (which it does), but it is also a picture of the author's life and his philosophies (very radical for the 1930s, when he wrote it as an old man).. he was a person ahead of his times). It is a great reflection of the times (when the Americnl Civil War was still a fairly recent memory). His concerns for the future and well-being of America are still very topical and current today. I accessed this book throughProject Gutenberg and recommend it highly.
