Nancy Pearl is a new discovery for me -- and book groups were a new discovery just 3 years ago. BOY! I was sure missing out. I am thrilled to learn more about Nancy (sent 2 friends to see her recently on Whidbey) -- and I took it one step further and launched a passion project driven around the premise of the power of book clubs and reading groups called book group expo --- www.bookgroupexpo.com. We had over 90 authors . . some chocolate tasting and wine tasting and amazing conversations not only with Amy Tan and Khaled Hosseini, but include the new discoveries of Kim Edwards and Sara Gruen and Thrity Umgar . . . an amazing couple of days. I look forward to meeting Nancy --- and learning more about GREAT DISCOVERIES from other book groups! 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
